The Bismarck State College Mystic athletic logo earned a Silver Medallion award at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 5 conference in Minneapolis.

Introduced during the 2012-13 school year, the logo was designed by Sean Thorenson, BSC associate professor of graphic design and communications, and Michelle Kraft, instructional graphic designer and developer. The new Mystic is fierce, strong and streamlined, reflecting the strength of BSC's student athletes.

The District 5 Medallion Award recognizes outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, the Canadian province of Manitoba, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. NCMPR is the only regional competition of its kind that honors excellence among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.

The Mystic logo can be seen on the athletics website, bscmystics.com, along with BSC athletic scores, schedules, forms, photos and live streaming of games.
