Bismarck State College hosts the fifth conversation in its 2012-13 series at 3 p.m. in the Bavendick Stateroom of BSC's National Energy Center of Excellence.
BSC President Larry C. Skogen and humanities scholar Clay Jenkinson will trace the history of the state Legislature, discussing which sessions have been the most dramatic, productive, controversial and consequential.
At a time of unprecedented change in North Dakota's landscape and culture, the conversation will explore how the North Dakota Legislature has handled other difficult or volatile periods.
